Moodle: A Free Open Source Learning Platform

With COVID-19 causing a lock-down all over the world, a lot of schools and universities had to move their classes online. While some institutions already had learning management systems in place a lot of others weren’t ready and had to find quick solutions including Whatsapp groups and zoom calls.

Without any confirmed cure or vaccine for COVID-19 a big transformation is expected to happen in education. To manage their classes efficiently, instructors need a Learning Management System that gives them control and flexibility.

If you are looking for an e-learning platform for your institution you will find many paid and free solutions that cater to different needs. I personally recommend Moodle: an open-source platform with a lot of features, a lot of available modules and a big community of users who are ready to support you if you face any issues.
